Ahead of our September concerts, join us for an insightful exploration of some of the featured repertoire through our Guided Listening Programme, Music Unveiled, presented in partnership with Galway City Council Arts Office and the University of Galway’s Department of Music.
On Tuesday, 25th August at 11am, we will deconstruct our September programme at Westside Library. The session will feature contributions from Dr. Amanda Heery, Department of Music, University of Galway and from Galway-based composer Dr. Jane O’Leary who will offer us unique perspectives on:
Debussy’s String Quartet in G minor and Jane O’Leary’s Forever Begin
Music Unveiled events are designed to deepen our understanding of the repertoire’s structure, inspiration, and context, as well as the performers’ connection to the music and composers.
