One week before each concert, Music Unveiled will deconstruct some of the featured Lunchtimes with ConTempo repertoire, empowering you to understand its structure, inspiration and context, as well as the performers’ interaction with the work and composer. The sessions will be led by Head of Music at University of Galway, Dr Aidan Thomson, with inputs by featured contemporary composers and live demonstrations by ConTempo Quartet.
Ahead of the March concerts, the Woodland programme will be deconstructed in the Galway City Library. In March, we will celebrate Trees & Forests with repertoire inspired by, and evoking, woodlands and some of the sounds found in woodlands.
Music Unveiled is FREE and all are welcome. Booking is required through the library: city@galwaylibrary.ie / 091-509094
