Music Unveiled – Shaped by Landscape

Ahead of our March concerts, some of the featured repertoire will be explored through our Guided Listening Programme Music Unveiled, in collaboration with Galway City Council Arts Office and University of Galway’s Department of Music. The March programme will be deconstructed on Tuesday 24^th February, 11am at Galway City Library with contributions from Dr Amanda Feery, lecturer in Music at University of Galway, composer Judith Ring, and ConTempo Quartet. Our Music Unveiled events empower you to understand the repertoires structure, inspiration and context, as well as the performers’ interaction with the work and composer.

Music Unveiled and Lunchtime with ConTempo are free, inclusive and accessible initiatives. The Music Unveiled sessions will be filmed and made available online for those who can’t make it in person. Booking for Music Unveiled is required through the Galway City Library.
