Join us for Lines of Listening, a Creative Responses initiative in partnership with Arts in Action, University of Galway on Sunday morning, November 22nd. Artist Maeve Curtis and Author Mike McCormack lead these deep listening workshops where participants respond to this season’s music through mark making either in paint or in words – exploring process, reflection and connection.
This session of Lines of Listening will focus on our upcoming December repertoire from our Autumn/Winter Programme:
In Conversation: Along the River Sûre
Expect the Belgian tradition of string quartet music fusing structure with warmth in dialogue with a rare hearing of Luxembourghish quartet writing and of course this season we are exploring all this music in conversation with a contemporary Irish composer’s music.
Open to all. No experience needed. Materials provided.
Booking for Lines of Listening is through the Arts in Action Eventbrite.
A maximum of 16 places are available per session so early booking is advised.
Come on this journey with us. Help us make many generations of musicians and music lovers in Galway and beyond.
