The West of Ireland is no stranger to wild weather, but storms are becoming an ever more present part of our lives due to climate change. This month our ‘Stormy Weather’ repertoire explores this pressing issue through music.
As part of our Nature & Ecology theme for 2025, we are battening down the hatches for ‘Stormy Weather’. Elements of our ‘Stormy Weather’ programme can be heard at Kinvara Community Hall as part of a larger event in collaboration with Kinvara Community Orchestra, directed by Garry O Briain on Saturday 29 November at 8pm as part of ConTempo Countywide.
*Tickets for this event support the valuable work of Kinvara Community Orchestra. We have limited free Social Inclusion tickets available on a first come first serve basis, to be booked through info@musicconnects.ie
The full ‘Stormy Weather’ programme can be heard on Tuesday 4 November at 1:10 pm in St Nicholas Collegiate Church as part of our Lunchtime with ConTempo series.
Come on this journey with us. Help us make many generations of musicians and music lovers in Galway and beyond.
