This is a unique opportunity to experience our May programme at an evening concert, Viola & Cello: A dialogue across time. ConTempo Quartet members Andreea Banciu and Adrian Mantu will explore the intimacy of the string duo over the ages with composers weaving voices together and revealing the unique stories two instruments can tell.
This evening’s repertoire will include music composed for viola and cello by F.A. Kummer, Rebecca Clarke, Ludwig van Beethoven, Carl Stamitz and Galway based composer, Jane O’Leary.
