Join us for the return of this much-loved series at 3pm on Saturday 19 November at The Mick Lally Theatre.
Galway’s newest Guest Resident Artist internationally renowned guitarist Marco Ramelli has curated a beautiful event of varied music. Marco himself will perform alongside members of Galway’s Ensemble in Residence ConTempo Quartet to share chamber music for strings and guitar. Louisburgh-based composer and improviser Bianca Gannon will offer the meditative sounds of the Indonesian gamelan in a layered and resonant instant-composition. Vocalist and visual artist Ceara Conway will take to the stage with cellist Mary Barnecutt to entreat audiences with traditional song and original sounds.
This series of events is free and presented in a relaxed setting. Donations are welcome and booking is recommended. Face masks are no longer mandatory in theatres, but will be very welcome.
